Marshall Teague wheels his Hudson Hornet into the south turn during the 1951 NASCAR Grand National season opener at Daytona on Feb. 11. Teague took the lead from Tim Flock with 12 laps remaining and sped to his first career NASCAR Grand National win. Teague said he had only one close call in the 160-miler. A photographer had darted onto the track to take a picture, and Teague commented that he "had to veer quick to miss him."
