A small collection of scenes of which I was in charge of for the mining company, Rio Tinto. I am responsible for nearly all of the work that is involved within these scenes, besides green screen compositing. This includes modeling and texturing, lighting, matte paintings, animation and rendering. The train and some of the gym equipment are the only models not made from scratch, stock models edited heavily to match existing reference material or clients specifications. The "underground" village built into the side of a cliff was completely designed and created by myself, including the walkways, and all interiors and exteriors. The most satisfying part of this project was matching the project to reference images of the pilbara, in particular the red dust, rocks, the sky and background mountains, and native flora. Rio Tinto did not allow sound to be used when using these as examples of our work.
