Now here's a tricky one in the variation arena, the #138 Famous Slugger Babe Ruth Special. Some self-proclaimed experts will tell you there is no green tint version of this card. But, there is. The card on the left is the corrected/normal version of the card, the card on the right is the green tint version. Here's the difference. First the clarity in the card on the left is far superior to the card on the right, first hint that the card on the right is a green tint. Now look at the difference in grass color, the left card has a more greenish color the card on the right, more grayish. Now look at the bat, the bat in the card on the right is more "fattish" than the card on the left. But here's the real tell-tale. Some of the green tint cards are cropped differently, I'll show you another one later on, but for now look at these two real close. For one, look how close the umpire's right elbow is to the border on the card on the right, then look at the space between the elbow and the border on the left card. Now look at Babe's feet in comparison to the Famous Slugger Banner. The card on the left you can see his left heel, where the right card has his heel cropped off as well as almost all of his right shoe. So, basically the banner is raised on the green tint card, cropping his feet and cropped to the left. I've seen this time and again, so it must be true.
